Two weeks

At Studio March, few things excite us more than a great find. Whether it’s a beautifully designed service, an unseen typeface or a forgotten coffee shop - we love to find new things to love. And these two weeks have adequately helped us in our cause.

These weeks have been significant for us, both personally and professionally. Through it, we’ve gotten exhausted, been overworked, overjoyed, under slept, and grown closer as a team. And through the course of these days, we’ve gotten our hands on some small, wondrous things; and as always, we’d love to share this varied, eccentric, yet thoroughly delightful cross-section of our finds.

Himalayas: Dawn to dark by Ashok Diwali

So, one of us at Studio March got married. And while this is a wonderful thing in itself, what makes it that much more magical, is that the vows were taken in the magnificent Himalayas. We found this book at the wedding venue, shrouded in himalayan mist, sitting both unassumingly and imposingly in the lobby. It’s beautifully written and photographed and does precious justice to the sanctity of the greatest mountain range in the world. Get your hands on a copy if you can, or just stop by at our office and sit back and read on our comfy buckets chairs. We promise it’s worth it.

Sivers delegates

We found Derek Sivers at his honest and chatty best, writing about the miracle of a difference delegation can make. He writes, drawing from his own experience, about how entrepreneurs usually get into a rut of doing everything themselves, and with that they burn themselves completely out. You should read this if you are an entrepreneur or just anyone who thinks there is room to do much more in your life. Here’s where you can find what Sivers wrote http://sivers.org/delegate. We, for one, were left thoroughly charmed!

Bank Simple

BankSimple is like a breath of mint-fresh early morning springtime air! At Studio March, we have always been moved by a real good rethink, and BankSimple is exactly that. They take the age-old concept of banking and completely de-clutter it, making it breezy, honest and most importantly very very simple. You no longer have to dread going to your bank! And something like this would be a perfect fit for India, where it’s glaringly absent and probably needed the most. Go look for yourself: www.banksimple.com

And lastly, this little sheep

We survive on little joys, and this little sheep is easily the littlest and most joyous thing we’ve seen in a while. Found on a casual day while out shopping in a nondescript little store in a small alley, it brings to our studio cutesy ceramic sheep goodness. Cute factor:10

So there it is. Our collection from here, there and everywhere. They have done a pretty job of making us smile and we hope they worked for  you too!
