When the rest of the world is telling you that we as humans are changing on a daily basis, the Google+ video starts off by telling you the exact opposite. The voiceover tells you that even today, humans are fundamentally driven by the exact same desires, needs and hopes as we were years ago - In essence, that we have not changed for thousands of years. And surely enough, it makes a strong, immediate connect.
These videos that introduced Google+ to the world, were refreshing to watch. A couple of lines that stood out for us in particular - “Being bored is fantastic for creativity” or “I rely so much on the personal connection between me and the people who are close to me - it’s fuel ”
The videos definitely had us wanting to use Google+, and more importantly, were a start in the foundation required to trust a product, and go on to recommend it to a friend.
