A close friend of ours, Amit Gupta, has recently been diagnosed with acute Leukemia. Amit is most popularly known as the force behind Photojojo. But anyone who has ever met him, primarily knows him as a great human being who is funny, kind and forever full of life.
If he doesn’t get a blood stem cell donor immediately, Amit could lose his life. Amit is only 32 and is an Indian, a race that is poorly represented in the registered donors pool. The odds of a south asian patient finding a match is 1 in 20,000.
You can help by getting tested. All that’s needed is a swab from your cheek, and that will take only 5 minutes to do. We are organizing a drive to find him a donor. It would make a world of a difference to both Amit and us if you came. Amit has also promised a generous compensation for his match.
